The Bank of Japan is maintaining its current monetary policy. The BoJ sounds optimistic as far as inflation is concerned, and for the first time projected a 2.0% inflation rate in a couple of years. However, the bank admits there are lots of risks, and confirms that it is ready to expand stimulus if needed.
