I have been buying this dip in Square Inc. $SQ, first around $73 and now around $65. In the past couple of weeks, price has retreated from a common resistance around $83.10 to a rising trendline around $65.SQ Daily Chart(click to enlarge)Support:- AS we can see on the daily chart, price is right around the rising trendline.- Furthermore, the RSI is under 30. The last couple of times the RSI was under 30, price rallied back fast.Timing:- While price is at a support and the RSI does show oversold condition, the timing might still be a bit early.- I can see price continuing to chop, and maybe even extend lower to the $60 area. - That is where I have my last entry point for SQ, at $60.- I am consider changing the $60 entry point to $52 in case we have a prolonged consolidation/correction period.- The volume corresponding to this dip is relatively high, so I can some short-term pain ahead.- However, I do have confidence in Square for its long-term prospect of growth, so I can take some short-term uncertainty.
